The Suunto Retractor allows either a Suunto compass or dive computer to be neatly clipped about your person to be easily read when needed. Some divers find it easier to view and manipulated their equipment with it out in front of them rather than on their wrist, especially when using a compass as it makes finding the correct direction and holding a bearing much easier. The Suunto Retractor features a high strength retractor design to make sure you compass or dive computer returns quickly and is held close to the body, the high strength cord ensures that your expensive computer will not break free. To fit, simply remove the strap of your Suunto SK7 compass or Suunto ‘puck’ style dive computer and push the tongue of the retractor into the slot until the nub has located itself inside the boot of your compass or computer. A special adapter plate can be purchased to change your computer retractor into one that will fit the SK7 compass.
